Welcome to our pad! My name is Valecia Whitfield. I have been teaching for 15 years. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary with an add-on endorsement in Learning Disabilities. I earned my Master's Degree in Elementary Education. I have taught in North Carolina, Georgia, and South Carolina. I have taught fifth grade, second grade, RTI, and first grade. Ten of my fifteen years have been in first grade. My family and I are living in the low country of South Carolina, near Hilton Head. My husband is a student minister and a behavior interventionist. We have three boys and a dachshund named Packer.
